A Samantabhadra Thangka depicts Samantabhadra (meaning "Universal Loving Virtue"), the Primordial Buddha (Adi Buddha) in the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

He is usually shown as a naked blue male figure embracing his white female consort, Samantabhadri, in the Yab-Yum posture. This sacred union symbolizes the inseparable unity of Wisdom (the female) and Compassion/Method (the male), which is the fundamental nature of the universe and the source of all Mandalas.

The Thangka represents the ultimate truth, or Dharmakaya, which is a state of pure, blissful, and pristine awareness.
